Gordon Allan Operations Director, Steamship Sir Walter Scott Ltd
Maintaining and refurbishing the world-famous steamship Sir Walter Scott so that generations of visitors can continue to enjoy the special experience of sailing on Loch Katrine under steam power is a task which brings many challenges - especially in generating the funding required to protect a ship which is approaching its 110th birthday.
The Steamship Sir Walter Scott Trust has been established in order to support the ship - and to raise the funds which are so important to secure its future. If you share the vision and the commitment of the Trustees who are committed to preserving this unique part of Scotland’s maritime heritage, and you want to help keep the Sir Walter Scott in operation, then you can apply for membership of Friends of The Sir Walter Scott.
This unique scheme offers you the chance to receive some exclusive benefits, as well as a means of supporting an important and worthwhile cause. If you would like to receive details of how you can become a member of Friends of The Sir Walter Scott, simply click here for further information.
Cycling adventures for all the family to enjoy! Bring your own cycles - or simply hire the bike of your choice from Katrinewheelz.

There’s a special welcome for families visiting Loch Katrine! Simply purchase a Family Ticket for any sailing on ‘Lady of the Lake’ or the ‘Sir Walter Scott’, and you will receive a Family Value Voucher (worth £6) which you can spend on board in the Kiosk during your cruise.
